The chemical industry converts raw materials (oil, natural gas, air, water, metals, and minerals) into more than 70,000 different products that are solid, but also liquid and gaseous materials. In doing this there is a need for chemical separation where the materials need to be classified, de-dusted or altered during the production procedure. Virto Group’s product FDA and ATEX accredited lines, Cuccolini and ScreenX, are widely used across the chemical industry all around the world in the production of many different chemicals (detailed below).
Virto Group’s client base in the chemical industry is vast and our screening equipment is used by a number of international chemical companies producing chemicals such as:
- Sulphuric Acid, Nitrogen, Ethylene, Oxygen, Lime, Ammonia, Propylene, Polyethylene, Chlorine, Phosphoric Acid and Diammonium Phosphates.
- Polymers such as Polyethylene (PE), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS) and Polyester. Commodity chemicals (Ethylene, Propylene, Benzene, Toluene, Xylenes, Methanol, Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Styrene, Butadiene, And Ethylene Oxide).
- The ScreenX line and Cuccolini separation equipment are often used for inorganic chemicals such as Salt, Chlorine, Caustic Soda, Soda Ash, Acids (Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, And Sulfuric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, and Hydrogen Peroxide) and also consumer chemicals such as Soaps, Detergents, and Cosmetics.
